Technology and the Culture of Education

 

Questions for Final Project/Paper Presentations

To organize our comments about projects in a way that will be useful and interesting for all in the class, let's follow this model:

 

1.  Start with a very brief reminder for the class about what you were working on – just a couple of sentences!

 

2.  What was the most frustrating thing you had to address or overcome in working on your project?  (This might have involved defining or conceptualizing the project, finding or not finding needed resources or information, figuring out how to design some part of a system, etc.)

 

 

2.  What was the one thing you learned most about as you worked on the project?  This might be a new perspective, an unexpected finding from research, an insight you gained, or something else.  (And, it might or might not be explicitly related to the topic of the project!)

 

 

3.  Where will the work you did on your project take you next?  (Is this a step towards a thesis or dissertation, something for work, a compelling personal interest, something else?)

 

 

4.  Do you feel that you learned something new or different about the culture of education, or technology, as a result of your work, or is it "same-old, same-old"?

 

 

6.  "Other"
